Credit Card Web Portal Redesign

I led the revamp of a major US bank’s credit card web portal, enhancing aesthetics and usability to modernize the interface and streamline customer experiences, boosting satisfaction and efficiency.

The Ask
Transform the bank's credit card portal to reduce redundancies and improve aesthetics, elevating overall user experience and satisfaction.

The Impact
The redesign modernized the customer experience and reduced inefficiencies, leading to fewer customer service calls. It also set a design precedent for the bank’s other projects. The client's satisfaction with our design direction influenced subsequent app developments, culminating in the successful release of the app version 2022, further standardizing the aesthetic across all company products.

Design Solution

The design team and I went through the discovery phase to understand existing issues; then we ideated a new design direction. This included finalizing the critical user flow, prototypes, and design systems. We designed 105 high-fidelity screens (85 desktop and 20 mobile) across 10 user flows, a style guide for future discovery, 125+ portal-specific flexible components for clear development, and 14 prototypes for concept testing and stakeholder feedback.
